Barista Basics

An absolute must for all new baristas! Learn all the basic skills required to make great tasing espresso and milk beverages for your café customers. We’ll discuss the coffee bean journey and selection process as well as roasting and bean storage. We’ll cover morning routines, dialling-in, how to taste coffee, grind adjustment, milk steaming and pouring and workflow. Of course, no barista class would be complete without machine cleaning.

On-site support

Need a hand in your cafe to get everything up and running to a high standard? Let us know and we'll jump behind the bar with you. No need to close up shop,  we'll work together to ensure the coffee is tasting great and the milk drinks are heading out to customers looking beautiful.

Advanced Training

Advanced milk and Workflow

Take your barista skills to the next level with our advanced barista training. If you’ve attended the barista skills class and you’re ready to dive deeper into new blends, extraction analysis, efficiency and workflow or latte art, then this is the class for you! We’ll tailor the class to your area of interest and really sharpen those barista skills.

Train the Trainer

Become the coffee hero of your establishment! Train the Trainer is a class aimed at managers and head baristas. This session will cover barista leadership and mentoring as well as provide a solid foundation of knowledge about Strictly’s coffee. The session includes extensive troubleshooting exercises and workshopping basic technical problems.
