Sebastian Gomez hails from a storied coffee lineage. Alongside his father, John, he owns La Divisa Farm, a 13-hectare estate in Circasia, Quindío, situated at an altitude of 1,700 meters. The farm is renowned for its beautiful shade canopy, featuring Guamo, Guayacan, Gualandai, and Nogal trees.
The Geisha variety (sometimes spelled Gesha), celebrated for its extraordinary cup profile at high altitudes, traces its origins to the Gori Gesha forest in Ethiopia, discovered in 1931. First planted in Panama in 1963 and subsequently in Colombia in 2005, this variety remains a testament to the potential of careful agricultural stewardship.
We have roasted this coffee to a light profile for soft brew methods.
